This movie poster was created on Photoshop Elements CS5 and promotes the movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which will be released in September 2012. The poster best showcases the principle of design on unity. The designs, pictures, and text are placed in a way to balance each other. Thus, there is no visible dominant point in the poster - everything rests in equilibrium. The colour scheme of the poster consists of muted pastels, as not to overwhelm the poster. This also adds to the principle of unity.

The Sony Cybershot DSC-T99 is the latest in the Cybershot family. It contains a touchscreen for easy handling, and runs for $250. The camera contains intelligent auto adjustment, which automatically changes the settings of the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to suit the environment which the picture is being taken in. The camera has different settings if one desires to change the scene, such as settings for fireworks, underwater, and pets. The camera also has portrait and landscape options to make the picture even more personal.
To take custom pictures to capture everything across a scene, the Sony Cybershot DSC-T99 has an option for panoramic pictures. In such a photograph, one can maneuver the camera to capture a wide amount of area in one shot. The photographs end up stunningly clear when uploaded, and are perfect to use as banners on personal websites.
Alongside with these photo options, the camera also has new settings to make self portraits more easier to take. For example, the camera has a smile option, which snaps a picture when it senses one grinning. Also, in the self-timer option, the camera has a setting which allows a picture to be taken when it senses one or two people directly in front of the camera.
In conclusion, the Sony Cybershot DSC-T99 is a practical and efficient camera to use, due to its easy adjustments and different settings to make pictures more personal.

Photoshop Poster
To make my poster, I used a variety of tools in photoshop. I first used the lasso tool to isolate the characters, logo, and the TARDIS. I then used posterize to apply a cartoonish look to the page. Then, I used the paint tool to add specific colors to the characters. I used the text tool to add the show name and the promo. Lastly, I used the quick selection tool to get rid of any lasting edges which do not fit with the poster, followed by another posterization.

Stop Motion Animation
Wallace & Gromit, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and Coraline. What do these popular films have in common? They are all animated using stop motion animation technology. Stop motion animation can be filmed on its own, or incorporated into live-action films for exciting special effects. This technique provides unique, artistic results whose films become beloved for generations to come.
Stop motion animation has been used in the film making business for many decades. The technique was created to provide limited films with realistic looking impossibilities, such as dinosaurs and monsters. The earliest recognized film using stop motion was The Missing Link in 1916, about a transitional species between apes and humans. The use of stop motion animation increased significantly in the coming years with movie directors such Willis O’Brien, Ray Harryhousen, and David Allen. Also, the creation of prominent ad characters such as the Pillsbury Doughboy and the Hamburger Helper were originally created with stop motion animation, then later modified with computer graphics.
The technique of stop motion animation has not changed as time went on, rather that the technique was just used less in favour of more future-friendly technology, such as computer graphics. To capture stop motion pictures, frames were taken one at a time of the model. In between the pictures, one would come to slightly modify the position of the model. After many, many pictures, at least ten frames per second, a collection of pictures showing a succession will be the product. When played in sequence, these frames will show a video of a seemingly moving model. However, these sequences can take long to record, up to hours for only a few seconds of work. These original techniques remain prominent in the hands of stop motion animators today, though were refined to near perfection as time went on.
Those skilled in stop motion animation are usually limited to keeping it as a hobby due to the difficult work and hours involved. However, a lucky few use this as their careers by becoming stop motion animators. They are responsible for creating many treasured films, even today. For example, Fantastic Mr. Fox was created painstakingly by stop motion animators using puppets. Although the job is tedious, many enjoy it because they get to make realistic looking productions with an artistic twist.

History of the Digital Camera
Prototypes of the digital camera first developed in the 70's. The first widely recognized camera was created in 1975, by combining spare parts with a movie camera lens. This was created by a Kodak engineer. To develop the photo, electronic sensors were used as opposed to film. This first camera is much more different than the cameras of today. For one thing, it weighed four kilograms and only had 0.1 megapixels. Development did not continue for another few decades for the digital camera because progress went back to film. However, in the late 80's and the early 90's, the market exploded once more. Big companies such as Canon, Kodak, Apple, and Sony created many new models to compete with in the market.
Cameras for consumer use were very expensive when they were first introduced, around $1000. Cameras were initially used by professional photographers and researchers, though the demographic grew to include the common population as digital cameras became more popular and affordable. As the decade went on, features such as more memory, automatic exposure, and self timers were implemented to make digital cameras more efficient and appealing than film ones.
At present day, cameras have become much more mainstream and affordable. Cameras are now used in everyday activities to capture important moments in our lives. Film cameras have become obsolete, as sleeker, smaller digital cameras have taken over the photo world.

The 5 W's - Schwann Cells
The three websites which appeared first were for Wikipedia, an assignment website, and a website called Biology Online. They all have various degrees of authenticity and will be assessed below.

WHO: Wikipedia is a website which can literally be edited by anybody in the world. It is a collaborative online encyclopedia. Thus, it is possible that information provided on Wikipedia may not always be entirely true, as the information has not been confirmed by experts at any point. Viable sources are given for only a little of the information. There is no biography of any Wikipedia authors because many write anonymously. There is also no possible way to discover more about the anonymous authors.
WHAT: The purpose of Wikipedia is to provide information on any subject, at any time. Although not confirmed due to inadequate sourcing, the information in presumed as true. Wikipedia is often visited many times a day, not only by students but for ordinary subjects too. It is easy to use because it gives information on the current subject right away. Many authors edit Wikipedia to give every article a well-rounded information base. Thus, it is possible to receive an unbiased article, edited by many, which usually uses adequate educational terms to provide a practical source.
WHEN: Wikipedia was created in January of 2001 to provide an online encyclopedia. The article on schwann cells was last updated on December 29, 2011. A date that is this recent shows that the site is constantly changing on every article.
WHERE: The information on Wikipedia is contributed by many around the world. The articles created by one have to be cited to another source, so that it is proven that the information is not fabricated.
